how I' d cherished you until I lost you.
The author was recording this song at a studio in Tokyo
when a big earthquake happened on March 11, 2011.
It was a song about his beloved lady whom he'd lost to
terminal cancer. In middle of a helpless situation,
he'd realized how fragile a life was, how heart-breaking
yet loving to have lost a beloved one.
He was not aware of it until then.
There is nothing more to expect your love to be alive
and close by. That is the one and only hope.
This is a requiem to heal the hearts
of all the people in the world who'd lost their beloveds.
I lost my love to scirrhous cancer.
I composed this song in such a sadness.
And while recording at a studio in Tokyo, I faced the mega earthquake.
All the buildings in Aoyama area were trembling,
and the highway was shaking as if falling down.
It looked like a dreamy CG scene from a science fiction movie.
When I was writing a song,
I thought not many people would share the same feelings with me
and would understand me as I thought there might be few
whose beloveds had passed away so young as mine.
After the earthquake, to my surprise however,
I found a large number of people have the similar feelings as mine.
This is such an unusual situation beyond our imagination.
I sincerely wish that you will play, listen and deliver this song
hoping to share my pains, love and sadness
with all those who feel the same and have pains and love in their hearts now.
